Removal and installation of the distributor of ignition
The ignition distributor is driven directly by the camshaft. It is situated on the cylinder head on the flywheel side. Withdrawal | - Disconnect earth cable from the battery.
 | This data is erased from the memory of malfunctions of the engine or a protective code of a radio receiver. Before disconnecting the battery should read instructions in Section Removal and installation of the battery. |
 | - If there is, turn off the vacuum hose -1- from the ignition distributor.

- 2 Unscrew the bolts and set aside the distributor -4- with the cables plug -2-.
- Disconnect plug -3.
- Unscrew the bolts of the distributor of ignition.
- Remove the valve from the cylinder head.

Setting | - Check the oil seal on the basis of the distributor for damage.
- Lubricate the oil seal with engine oil.

Before 9/89, the no. | - To establish the piston of 1st cylinder in the ignition position
 | - Insert the dispenser, with the marked side of the bracket on the shaft of the distributor should coincide with a label on the distributor case.

- Install the bolts and screw distributor.
|
|
. With 10/89 vol. | - Insert the distributor, thus ensure that the seizure on the distributor in the groove on the camshaft. To do this, gently press the valve into the hole and at the same time turn the shaft to the rotor of the distributor until it clicks and the rotor stops turning.
| Capture of the distributor may be located in a cam slot in one position only. |
- Align the distributor so that the screw holes were in the middle of the slotted holes. Install the bolts and tightened to 25 Nm.
- Clean the inside of the distributor cap, check for cracks and traces of soot, replace if necessary.
- Wear distributor cap and secure with 2 screws.
- Push the plug.
- When was shot, vacuum line connected to a vacuum device distributor.
- Connect the battery earth cable.
- If available, set the clock and set the security code radio.
- Check ignition timing and adjust if necessary.
