Check the tread

Tires balanced wheels wear evenly across the work surface at the prescribed tire pressure, wheel alignment and the correct operation of shock absorbers. If uneven wear. See fault table in Chapter Wheels and tires, a body, car coloring, care of the car. The rest can not say anything definite about the life of the tires of individual producers, since the service life depends on various factors:

  • Road surface
  • Tire pressure
  • Driving style
  • Weather conditions

First of all, sports driving style contributes to rapid tire wear.

Regulations dictate operation of the tire tread to a depth of 1, 6 mm over the entire circumference. We recommend replacing tires when tread depth has 2, 0 mm.

If the tread depth is close to the minimum, the tire should be replaced.

M + S tires have a sufficient effect on the viscous mud and snow only when the tread depth of at least 4 mm.

Check the tires in places cuts and the depth of cuts with a small screwdriver. If the cut comes to the cord, corroding the steel cord due to permeation of water. Working surface moves away from the cord. Therefore, deep cuts the tire should be replaced.
