Heating System



Panel heater
Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Use a screwdriver to press the switch on the air conditioning unit turning ventilation grilles and disconnect the connector to access the screws securing the heater control panel.

Remove the screws and remove the control panel a heater from the instrument panel (Fig. 13.49).
Disconnect the connector from the heater control panel.
Disconnect the cables from the heater control panel.
Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Connect and adjust the cables.

Set the control knob to the heating and air distribution knob to set the way forward. Then, connect the cable and install the clamp (Fig. 13.50).
Attach the wire to the negative terminal of the battery, turn the fan switch to "4", and check that there are no air leaks through the central and lower air ducts.

Turn the temperature control to the "cold" and move the shift lever of cool / warm air into the extreme position cold air, and then connect the cable and clamp (Fig. 13.51).
The shift lever must be moved from the extreme left to the extreme right position.

Pull the handle all the way air distribution.

After the shift cable recirculated / fresh air will be pulled out all the way to recycle, connect the cable and install the clamp (Fig. 13.52).
Check the operation of the cable several times moving the control knob from one extreme to the other.
