Adding coolant concentrate (Mercedes Benz)

A warning

Since some parts of the cooling system made of aluminum, it is necessary to use for this purpose only suitable and permitted for use by Mercedes-Benz antifreeze, anti-corrosion agent.

Example: measurement of protection a 4-cylinder engine from freezing (no air conditioning) with a hydrometer guarantee this protection to a temperature of -20 ? C. In this case, drain the cooling system 1,3 l cooling liquid and then add 1.3 liters of pure concentrate of antifreeze . This ensures protection of the engine from freezing to a temperature of -37 ? C. If the engine should be guaranteed protection from freezing to -45 ? C, replace 1.7 liters of fluid.
