Transmission



The gearbox can be removed without removing the engine. But in most cases, the removal is only required when it is necessary to replace the gearbox, repair or replace the clutch. Because you can not repair the gearbox using makeshift home remedies in the body shop must contact the below described only the removal of the unit.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect from the terminals of the battery ground cable (-).
A warning

This erased anti-theft radio code.


2. Cover with suitable sheeting rear wall of the engine compartment so that when lowering the gearbox does not damage the insulating mat.

A warning

For vehicles with extra heating when lowering gearbox, pay attention to the fact that the hose to the coolant in the vicinity of the rear wall of the engine compartment is not damaged (arrow).


3. Raise the vehicle and support transmission Special car jack (in the garage) and the wooden spacers.
4. Remove the lower protective cover of the engine compartment.
5. Remove the bearing of the motor shaft at the back of the gearbox (arrow).
6. Remove the bracket (1) on the basis of the engine support frame body (arrow).
7. Remove the exhaust system. Remove the bracket (2) on the PPC (arrow). Pre-mark the position of the backing plate compass (describe a circle), so it can be set again later in its place.
8. Remove the shield to the propshaft center bearing.
9. Loosen the clamp nut on the propeller shaft.
10. Loosen, without twisting, bolts for propshaft center bearing.
11. Remove the propeller shaft at the checkpoint. At the same time leave for propeller shaft drive of the hinge.
12. Loosen the unloading pivot sleeve flange by means of a cylindrical rod with a diameter of 10 mm and a length of about 150 mm.
13. Squeeze ago driveshaft as much as it allows the intermediate bearing and clamping piece.
14. Disconnect the pipeline going to the distribution cylinder on the left side of the hose connection (arrow). Collect brake fluid poured out. Close joints stoppers.
15. Remove the shift fork rods with intermediate levers bracket gearshift previously depressing the safety bracket.
16. Remove the flange bolts from the starter.
17. Remove all the fixing bolts of the gear on the intermediate flange. At the same time the top three screws removed in the last turn.
18. Remove the wire connecting the battery to the weight of the car.
19. Turn left gearbox, remove the horizontal back and remove it from the sleeve.
20. Lower the gearbox.
A warning

Lower the transmission only when the input shaft is removed carefully from the clutch disc, otherwise it may be damaged clutch disc.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before installation, check the clutch.
2. Check the ease of movement of the clutch bearing clutch. Lubricate the bearings, for example, grease "Liqui Moly V-320." If before dismantling when the clutch was noisy in the sleeve bearing clutch, replace the bearing.
3. Clean and lightly grease molybdenum paste or molybdenum spray lubricant wedge ring gear input shaft and spigot.
A warning

The ring gear clutch hub for the double-hulled otnikelirovan flywheel. Therefore, the engine capacity of 2.2 / 2.8 L is not necessary to lubricate the ring gear input shaft gearbox.


4. Turn on the first transmission.
5. Lift, turn left and enter the horizontal transmission in the clutch. If the introduction of the gearbox output shaft engages in the clutch disk, respectively, manually turn the shaft with the rear flange for propeller shaft.
6. Screw the gearbox to the intermediate flange with the screw on the bottom left to the checkpoint earth wire of the battery.
Tightening torque:
Bolt M 10 x 40 - 55 Nm
Bolt M 10 x 45 - 55 Nm
Bolt M 10 x 90 - 45 Nm
7. Tighten the starter with two bolts.
8. Hang the shift forks stocks of intermediate levers and secure them with safety straps. At the same time squeeze the spring clips, slide the slot into the groove of the shift fork shaft and fix it.

A warning

Use only the safety bracket with rounded (arrow). When assembling the bracket must engage to ensure a reliable support.


9. Attach the tubing to the distribution cylinder.
10. How can you continue to pull the propeller shaft from moving parts and priflantsuyte to CAT. To this end, several raise the engine and transmission with the garage jack and wood shims.
11. Rigid screw rear engine mounting bracket to the transaxle.
12. Hard Screw the motor mount to the frame of the base body.
13. Rigid screw propshaft center bearing.
14. Tighten the clamping nut with a torque of 35 Nm
15. Tightly screw the screen for propeller shaft intermediate bearing.
16. Install the exhaust system, check with the rubber ring on the absence of porosity and damage.
17. Bleed the clutch operation.
18. Check the gear.
19. Establish the bottom cover of the engine compartment.
20. Lower the car.
21. Remove the sheet from the engine compartment.
22. Connect the terminal of the battery ground cable (-).
23. Set the time on the clock.
24. Enter the anti-theft code for the radio.

Adjustment

The system shift

12. Gear Shift the first and second gear
3-4. Gear Shift third and fourth gear
5-R. Gear Shift fifth gear and reverse gear

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the transmission to idle (neutral).
2. Remove the safety bracket, and then unhook rods shift forks on the intermediate lever.
1-2 = intermediate lever for the first and second gear;
3-4 = intermediate lever for the third and fourth gear;
5-R = intermediate lever to fifth gear and reverse gear.
3. Enter the latch bolt (A) into the hole on the bottom bracket of the gearshift lock and thereby three intermediate lever.
4. If necessary, fabricate bolt lock on the specified size.
5. Stocks shift forks must be squeezed out without stress on the bolt with an intermediate lever. Otherwise, loosen the locknut and install the guard shift fork to the appropriate length. Tighten the lock nut.
6. Secure the shift fork rods (1) retaining clips.

A warning

You can only use safety brackets with rounded (arrow).


7. Remove the bolt lock.
8. Check the functioning of the gear with the engine running. Programs should be installed without binding.
