Transmission

1. Clutch Disc
2. Pressure Plate
3. Bearing Clutch Clutch
4. clutch fork
5. Allen screw, 25 Nm

The clutch consists of a clutch pressure plate, clutch plate (driven disk) and hydraulic control system. Pressure and driven wheels are located on the flywheel.

Clutch pressure plate is connected to the flywheel, which is screwed to the crankshaft of the engine. Between the pressure plate, which is squeezed out the pressure plate to the flywheel. The slave drive is centered gear input shaft gearbox.

When pressing a foot on the clutch pedal (the clutch squeezing) with the cylinder pressure sensor is created and transmitted through a hydraulic line to a distribution cylinder of coupling, screwed to the gear mechanism. The piston of the switchgear by means of the clutch fork squeezes clutch bearing clutch towards the disc springs of a press disk and slightly raises it. This makes free the clutch disc between the flywheel and the pressure plate, and thereby eliminated the connection between the engine and gearbox.

If the clutch pedal is returned to the upper position (clutch engagement), the pressure plate presses the clutch disc to the flywheel. Again frictional connection is formed as pressed against the clutch disc by the gearing is rigidly connected to the shaft of the gearbox.

When you turn on and off the clutch because of the easy process of sliding friction lining wears little slave drive. Consequently, the clutch plate is a wearing part, however, the average service life is more than 100,000 kilometers of driving the car. Depreciation depends largely on the load (for example, operation of a vehicle with a trailer), and the mode of movement. Clutch does not require maintenance.

Engines 2.0-liter air-conditioned, and the volume of 2.2 and 2.8 liters are equipped with twin-mass flywheel. Double-hulled flywheel has spring-cushioning system in order to reduce the transmission of torsional vibrations generated by the engine. With this further reduces the transmission of noise in the lower speed range. Clutch Disc for this flywheel is further from the hub, and the gripping flap clutch friction lining. The pressure plate and clutch bearing clutch is also fitted to the changed conditions of the placement.
