Removing and installing brake light switch



Brake light switch is located on an arm of a pedal under the steering column.


Brake light switch

1 - the mounting bracket of the brake pedal
2 - return spring
3 - hex nut
4 - lamp switch stoplight

5 - the lever of the brake pedal
6 - contact button
7 - hinge pin
and - the installation size


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the circuit breaker inside the nut and remove the switch from the bracket.
  2. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
  3. Adjust the switch position using nuts so that the lights stop signal light after 5-15 mm stroke pedal arm. When fully released pedal lever between the pedal and the fixed part of the circuit breaker must have a gap (a) 6-8 mm.
