PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Remove the air filter and, depending on the equipment, take the air conditioning compressor without disconnecting the tube.
Remove the retaining spring and undock multi-pin connector from the generator.
Loosen the nuts and bolts of the generator and adjust the belt drive, and then post the generator to the engine block.
Remove the drive belt from the alternator pulley.
Remove the nut and remove the hinge pin jumper ground the generator to ground.
Remove the bolts and adjusting with washers and remove the generator.
Installation is the reverse order of removal. Adjust the belt tension by turning the adjusting bolt. Check the bolts of the generator bracket.
