Topping up the electrolyte in the battery

If a fully charged battery electrolyte density in one element of 0.040 or more on the higher or lower than in others, it may be the cause of leakage of electrolyte from the cell. Dilute element solution of 1 part of sulfuric acid and 2.5 parts of distilled water. If the electrolyte level it is already at the top mark, aspirate the electrolyte with a hydrometer. When mixing the sulfuric acid and water is not allowed to pour water into the acid; always pour the acid in a thin stream into a glass vessel with water. When pouring water into sulfuric acid an explosion. Fill with fresh electrolyte element, recharge the battery and check the density of the electrolyte.
