Replacement of the proximity sensor, ignition distributor

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove the rotor and the dust screen. Remove the vacuum regulator of an advancing of ignition. Remove the mounting bracket 1 and carefully remove the straight line carrying the drive. Inside view of the gauge-distributor Turn the rotor so that it coincided with the prongs of the stator teeth and measure the gap "A", which must be equal to 0,35-0,70 mm. Remove the retaining ring 2. Remove the spacer ring 3. Carefully remove the rotor 4 with two screwdrivers inserted from opposite sides, after removing the key 5. Remove the thrust washer Remove the three screws that secure the bracket proximity sensor (indicated by arrows). Remove the retaining ring 6. Press the mounting bracket and remove the bracket from the proximity sensor. Remove the proximity sensor bracket.

Setting

Installation of a new non-contact sensor is carried out in reverse order, with the following:

When installing the sensor-distributor the dimension "A" of 3.5 cm between the label on the housing and the rotor.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Point the teeth of the sensor to the side of the screen cut-out on the host drive. When installing the rotor, align the notch of his sleeve with the groove of the roller. When installing the vacuum regulator, turn left stator.
