Removing and installing brake light switch



1 - stoplight switch 2 - The brake pedal

Brake light switch is located on the support of the brake pedal. Check the operation of the brake light switch, see Chapter 60.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Remove the cover under the dashboard on the driver side.
3. Disconnect the connector of the brake switch (1).

4. Push the stopper (1), turn the switch to the right and pull it out of the holder.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the plunger (2) of the new brake light switch until it stops. This creates a maximum stroke "a".
2. Fully press the brake pedal. Insert the switch and turn to the left so that the stopper (1) is fixed.
3. Release the brake pedal. This course is set pusher itself.
4. Dock connector of the brake switch.
5. Check whether the lamp lights stoplight with little pedal is depressed.
6. Replace the cover under the dashboard on the driver, refer to the appropriate section.
