Removing and installing rear brake caliper



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Mark a paint position of the rear wheels relative to the hub. This allows the assembly to establish BALANCED wheels in their former position. Loosen the wheel bolts before jacking the car. Lift the rear of the car, put it on supports and remove the rear wheels.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Secure the caliper with two new Self-bolted to the trailing arm. Tighten the bolts to 55nm.

Large torque! Make sure that the vehicle is securely fastened on supports and a torque wrench is horizontal. Bolts can be tightened completely when the car is back on wheels.

2. Install the brake pads, refer to the appropriate section.

Keep the friction surfaces of brake discs and pads grease or oil.

3. Install the brake hose, refer to the appropriate section.

Do not twist the brake hose.
4. Remove the air from the brake system, refer to the appropriate section.

5. Replace the rear wheels so that coincided marks put at removal. Preliminary grease with a thin layer of bearing grease centering the belt drive wheel on the hub. Bolts do not grease the wheels. Rusty bolts replace. Tighten the screws. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts cross-wise the moment of 110 nm.

Several times, press firmly on the brake pedal until it reaches a noticeable resistance. Thus, the brake pads are adjacent to the drive and take your position.

6. Check the fluid level in the tank, if necessary, add a liquid to a mark MAX.

Spend Control Reliability:

?� Whether the brake hoses are fixed?

?� Flooded there enough brake fluid?
