Removal and installation of a brake disk



To achieve a uniform two-sided braking of the brake disk friction surface have the same with respect to their appearance and roughness. So make sure to eat through, or need to replace both brake disc one axis.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Mark a paint position of the wheels relative to the hub. This allows the assembly to establish BALANCED wheels in their former position. Loosen the wheel bolts before jacking the car. Lift the car, put it on supports and remove the wheels.

6. The rear wheel brake: Fully release the parking brake. Remove the back adjustment device the parking brake drum. To do this, enter a screwdriver through the screw hole for the wheel bolts. Right wheel: Turn the screwdriver adjusting wheel (1) from the bottom up. Left wheel: Turn the screwdriver adjusting wheel (1) from top to bottom.

7. Remove the screw (1) and remove the brake disc (2) from the hub.

Firmly seated remove the brake disc from the hub with light plastic mallet or using a puller.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If there is rust on the flange of the brake disc and front hub, remove them.
2. The new brake discs: Remove the disc protective coating with a rag and a diluent.
3. The rear wheel brake: If the former is set in the disc, wipe the surface of the brake pad handbrake and visually inspect it. Check the ease of travel expander lock brake pads handbrake.
4. Install the brake disc on the hub and secure with new caulking bolt. Tighten the retaining bolt torque 10Nm.
5. Brake rear wheel: Adjust the brake. To do this, enter a screwdriver through the threaded hole wheel bolts. Right wheel: Turn the screwdriver adjusting wheel (1) from top to bottom. Left wheel: Turn the screwdriver adjusting gear upwards. Turn the adjusting gear up until the brake pads are not prilyagut to drive and rear wheel stops rotating. Then slowly turn the adjustment gear back so that the wheel can rotate freely. Make sure that the gear on the right and on the left side of the wheel was otv?�rnuta back to the same number of teeth.
6. Replace the support, refer to the appropriate section.
7. Install the brake shoe, refer to the appropriate section.
8. Replace the wheel so as to coincide marks put at removal. Preliminary grease with a thin layer of bearing grease centering the belt drive wheel on the hub. Bolts do not grease the wheels. Rusty bolts replace. Tighten the screws. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts cross-wise the moment of 110 nm.

Make sure the brake hose does not touch the front brake wheel at maximum steering angle.

Several times, press firmly on the brake pedal until it reaches a noticeable resistance. Thus, the brake pads are adjacent to the drive and take your position.

9. Brake rear wheel: A few times apply the parking brake and check its adjustment. If necessary, adjust the brake, refer to Section brake system checked. Adjusting the parking brake.
10. New brake pads carefully burnished. To do this a few times brake the car to a speed of 80 km / h to 40 km / h, pressing lightly on the brake pedal. Between braking allow the brake to cool down. The first 200 km of traffic do not apply without the need for a strong braking of the car.
