Check and adjustment of the hydraulic stop

Check and adjustment of the hydraulic steering limiter

1 - Valve stopper (arrow)
2 - Hex Bolt
3 - Locking Liner

4 - Cover
5 - Steering wheel

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Poddomkratte the front of the car and establish it on props.
  2. Remove the hex bolt (2) and remove it together with a locking insert (3).
  3. Screw the restrictor valve (arrow) into the crankcase steering until it stops, then release 2-2.5 turns.

Provided only one-stop valve (1), working in both directions of rotation of the steering wheel. Accordingly, the selected setting of the valve will act in both directions of rotation.

Do not release the stop valve more than 2.5 turns with the engine running.

  1. Remove the steering wheel airbag module (see chap. Onboard electric equipment).
  2. Allowing the engine to rotate at a speed of 800 rev / min, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left.
  3. Put on the bolt / nut steering shaft socket wrench, pull it all the way to the steering stop with a force of about 25 Nm and secure in this position.
  4. Slowly screw the pressure reducing valve in the crankcase of the steering mechanism to the emergence of resistance in the 20 Nm, ensuring the installation of the required parameters.
  5. Screw locking insert (3) and hex bolt (2).

If you can not put the liner to the hex head pressure reducing valve after the last adjustment, tweak the position of the valve, pulling it to the desired angle clockwise.

  1. Replace the driver airbag module.
