PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Expand the steering wheel in the straight-ahead position.
  2. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  1. Turn on the auxiliary battery and connect it to a standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable last.

    7 - Auxiliary battery
8 - terminal positive wire module
9 - negative terminal wire module
    W10 - Ground Battery

  1. Remove the steering wheel (see. Section Removal and installation of the steering wheel).
  2. Remove the mounting bolts (32h) so that there was the possibility of removing the contact of the cable drum (A45), - the bolts also act as guides to ensure the uniqueness of interface components for assembly.
  3. Carefully remove the drum (A45) with the column cover.
  4. Inspect shot drum for mechanical defects, if necessary, prepare a replaceable assembly.
  5. Installation is in the reverse order - check the completeness and correctness of landing of the drum, on models of release since 01.07.02 careful not to damage the contact terminals (1).
  1. Before installing the steering wheel make the centering of the cable drum (A45), which completely screwed fixing screws (32h), expand the drum counterclockwise until resistance is felt, then turn it back on 3-3.5 turnover so that the screws (32h) could again be unscrewed through specially provided openings.

Cable drum can be scrolled a maximum of 6.7 turns.

  1. With proper configuration, deactivate the service mode of TELE AID.
  2. Finally, clean the processor memory on-board self-diagnostic system (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
