PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the accessory drive belt (4) (see chap. Engine).
  2. Loosen the fasteners and remove the pulley (5).
  3. Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the nipples (3 and 2), - prepare for the gathering of a spilled liquid.
  4. Release the clips (1) wiring.
  5. Remove the steering pump (6).
  6. Carefully smooth all the components, replace defective parts.
  7. Installation is in the reverse order.
  8. Fill the power steering reservoir and pump fresh hydraulic fluid path.
  9. Replace end cap, having tracked correctness of landing gasket.

Models of 463,246 / 249 (M113)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the left air intake (1).
  2. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props.
  3. Drain the cooling system (see chap. Current care and maintenance).
  4. Disconnect the hose (2) cooling path from the top of the radiator (3) and move it aside, - if necessary, prepare a removable hose and clamp mounted.
  5. Get under the car drain capacity.
  6. Remove the cover (10) and pump out the liquid from the tank GUR (11).
  7. Disconnect from the reservoir (11), the return hose (13) - if necessary, prepare a removable hose and clamp mounted.
  8. Remove the screw (6) securing the reservoir (11) to the casing of the pump assembly.
  9. Remove the clip securing the supply hose.
  10. Press forward, then pulling it up, remove the power steering reservoir (11), - Prepare the replacement O-ring.
  11. Throw off the belt (7) the accessory drive pulley (8) steering pump (12).
  12. Remove the expansion pressure hose (9).
  13. Remove the mounting bolts (4) and remove the pump (12) from the holder.
  14. Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to fill the tank in the required amount of fresh liquid to avoid emptying the pump.
  15. In summary pump GUR path several times by turning the steering wheel from lock to lock.

Diesel models

Models 463.323 (M612)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the cylinder head cover trim
  2. Remove the accessory drive belt (see chap. Engine).
  3. Disconnect the hose (1) from the inlet of the mixing chamber (2), - prepare a replacement gasket.
  4. Evacuate the hydraulic fluid from the reservoir GUR (4).
  5. Disconnect from the reservoir (4) supply hose (5), - ready to collect spilled liquid.
  6. Disconnect expansion hose (6), - immediately plug the nozzle, if necessary, prepare a removable sealing ring (7).
  7. Remove the steering pump (9), if necessary, release the bolts (11) and remove the pulley (10).
  8. Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to fill the tank in the required amount of fresh liquid to avoid emptying the pump.
  9. In summary pump GUR path several times by turning the steering wheel from lock to lock.

Models 463.333 (M628)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the air cleaner (1).
  2. Remove the left air intake (2).
  3. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props.
  4. Remove protection crankcase.
  5. Drain the cooling system (see chap. Current care and maintenance).
  6. Disconnect the radiator hose (3) and move it aside, - if necessary, prepare a removable hose and clamp fixing it, get ready for a gathering of a spilled liquid.
  7. Remove the four mounting screws, remove the dipstick motor oil, remove the oil filler cap and remove the finishing panel (4).
  8. Get under the car drain capacity.
  9. Remove the oil filter (6), drain the oil and replace the previously Replace gasket.
  10. Remove the filter housing (20) a liquid heat exchanger (5) - Prepare a replacement gasket.
  11. Remove the oil filter housing (20).
  12. Siphon the power steering fluid from the reservoir (7).
  13. Disconnect from the tank and immediately plug the hose (8), - prepare for the gathering of a spilled liquid.
  14. Release the fixing collar (9) and pulling up, remove the tank (7).
  15. Loosen the bolts (15) of the tensioning roller (13), loosen the accessory drive belt (14) and throw off its pulley (10) steering pump (11).
  16. Disconnect and immediately plug the oil line (16).
  17. Remove the two screws and disconnect the pump assembly (11), lower left duct (17).
  18. Loosen the air duct (21) to the cylinder head, then gently, trying not to damage, press the sleeve back.
  19. Loosen the bolts (18) securing the pump (11).
  20. Depressing the tension roller (13), unscrew the bottom bolt (19).
  21. Remove the pump mounting bolts to the timing cover and holder.
  22. Cutting the harness, loose wiring and remove the steering pump (11).
  23. If necessary, remove the pump assembly from the drive pulley (10).
  24. Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to fill the tank in the required amount of fresh liquid to avoid emptying the pump.
  25. Bleed the power steering path, several times turning the steering wheel from lock to lock.
  26. Finally, clean the processor memory on-board self-diagnostic system (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
