Check, removal and installation of brake disks
Check  | The measurement of the lateral runout of the brake disc (for example, the front wheel brake) |
| - Evaluate the amount of movement of the wheel bearing, if necessary, make appropriate adjustment (see chap. The transmission line).
- Remove the wheel and visually assess the condition of the brake discs. In identifying the deep grooves machined wheels should be in the range of acceptable values or replace (See below.).
 | Drives must be replaced in case the thickness of any of them is out of the lower limit of the permitted range (see. Specifications). |
- Secure the hub assembly on the dial gauge DTI, pinning him to the side of the plunger drive.
- Reset the meter and turn the disc determine the value of its lateral runout.
- Compare result of measurement to requirements of Specifications, in case of need replace the disc (see. Below).
