Removal and installation of wheel gauges ABS



The front sensors

Details of the installation of the front wheel ABS sensor

L6 / 1 - the left front wheel sensor
L6 / 2 - Switch the right front wheel

1 - Bolt

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a corresponding forward wheel.
  2. Remove the retaining bolt (1) and remove sensor (L6 / 1 or L6 / 2).
  3. Lightly its landing slot in the hub assembly, then disconnect the sensor wiring (H62 / 26 and H62 / 27).
  4. Assess the rotor (measuring ring) on the hub assembly, in case of need make replacement (see. Section Removal and installation of rotors of wheel gauges ABS).
  5. Installation is in the reverse order.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  1. Turn on the auxiliary battery and connect it to a standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable last.

    7 - Auxiliary battery
    8 - terminal positive wire module
    9 - negative terminal wire module
    W10 - Ground Battery
  1. Remove a corresponding back wheel.
  2. Carefully release the sensor (L6 / L6 or 3/4) of brass landing sleeve (1).
  3. Assess the rotor (measuring ring) on the hub, - in case of need make replacement (see. Section Removal and installation of rotors of wheel gauges ABS).
  4. Remove the brass nut (2).
  5. Remove the mounting block of the relay in the engine compartment of the car (see chap. Onboard electric equipment).
  6. Disconnect the connector (H92 / 3) electrical ABS, laid in the tool box (3) in the baggage compartment of a vehicle.
  7. Disconnect the harness connectors other (4) inside the tool box (3).
  8. Remove the Weatherproof screen.
  9. Push the wiring harness (4) into the opening (5) in the floor panel.
  10. Disconnect the connector (H92 / 3) wiring wheel sensor (L6 / 3 or L6 / 4), and finally remove the last assembly with wiring.
  11. Installation is in the reverse order - track correctness of wiring, to fix the harness using a new adhesive tape.
  12. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  13. 2 Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
