Removing and installing control modules ABS / EBV / ESP



The control unit ABS / EBV

For the petrol models, the release of 11.30.00

Details of installation of the control module ABS / EBV on petrol models manufacture 11.30.00

1 - Nut
2 - Rubber stoppers
3 - Holder

K40 - Relay Module
N15 / 3 - Control Module ETC
N47-7 - control module ABS / EBV

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Releasing the latch connectors, disconnect the wiring from the control module ETC (N15 / 3).
  3. Pull up and remove, without disconnecting the wiring, take aside module relay (K40).
  4. Release the connector latch and disconnect the wiring from the module of management ABS / EBV (N47-7).
  5. Release nut (1) on the mounting plate.
  6. Pull up and remove the holder (3).
  7. Remove the control unit ABS / EBV (N47-7).
  8. Installation is in the reverse order - track correctness of landing of the rubber stoppers with respect to (2), make sure the wiring is not proved to be clamped.
  9. Finally, clean the processor memory on-board self-diagnostic system (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

ABS control module

For models 453.250 / 333 manufacture of 09/30/01

Details of the ABS control module is installed on models 463.250 / 333 manufacture 09.30.01

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  1. Turn on the auxiliary battery and connect it to a standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable last.

    7 - Auxiliary battery
    8 - terminal positive wire module
    9 - negative terminal wire module
    W10 - Ground Battery
  1. Remove the floor carpet on the right front footswitch well.
  2. Give nuts (1) - if necessary, lift the cover (2).
  3. Slightly lift the air duct (4) and by means of the mounting plate (3) remove the control module ABS (N47-7).
  4. Release clamps, connectors Disconnect (5).
  5. Remove the plug (6).
  6. Give nuts (7) and remove the control module (N47-7) to the mounting plate (3).
  7. Installation is in the reverse order - with the appropriate configuration (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  8. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

Control Module ESP / ABS / BAS

For models 463.246 / 249/323 and 463.250 / 333 09/30/01 MY.

Details ESP control module is installed on models 463.246 / 249/323 and 463.250 / 333 09/30/01 MY.

The procedure is similar to the procedure described in the previous section for the module ABS (N47-7). Control modules ABS and BAS in this case integrated into the module ESP.
