Check, adjustment and replacement of a cable of a gear change
| Move the selector lever from "P" to "1" - the passage of each of the ranges should be felt-click the appropriate lock. If the clips do not work, or the indicator lever position does not correspond to the actual mode selected AT, adjust the drive shift control cable transmission. |

ADJUSTMENT | 1. Move the selector lever to position "P". 2. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props. | 3. On models 1993 and 1994 Vol. loosen the lock nut securing the cable to the switch rod. On models since 1995 Vol. loosen the lock nut securing the cable to the lever to change gears manually. Move the hand lever to position "P". |
| 4. On models 1993 and 1994 Vol. tighten the lock nut back so that it clung to Rod (not much - to select the slack cable), then tighten the front nut. On models since 1995 Vol. pull the rope down and hold it and the hand lever in this position, tighten the locknut. |
5. Turn the selector lever from "P" to "1". Ensure the smooth running of the lever. 6. Lower the car to the ground. |

REPLACEMENT |  | Some considered this Guide models equipped with airbags - mandatory disconnect SRS when servicing components located near the cushions (see chap. Onboard electric equipment). |
1. Remove the center console trim and the instrument panel center section (see chap. Body). 2. Remove the handle from the lever of selector AT. | 3. Remove the display panel position indicator transmission. |
| 4. Disconnect the drive cable from the selector lever. |
| 5. Release the cable from the arm assembly. |
6. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props. 7. Disconnect the cable from the lever on the manual shift transmission. On models 1993 and 1994 Vol. the cable is fixed by the clamp - on models from 1995 MY. nut is used. | 8. Remove the C-shaped clamp fastening of a cable support bracket on the transmission housing. Release the cable from the bracket. |
9. Install in the reverse order. Do not forget to adjust the cable (See above.). |
