Removing and installing coil spring front suspension



To perform the procedures described below require special tools to compress the coil spring.

Withdrawal

Components coil spring front suspension
1 - Bolts
2 - a cover
3 - a nut
4 - stroke limiter compression
5 - insulator
6 - a spring

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Poddomkratte the front of the car and establish it on props, the institution under the chassis frame.
  2. Give cover bolts to stop the compression stroke, remove the cover.
  3. Remove the nut and the compression stroke limiter leave limiter simply supported in the lower spring seat.
  4. Use the special tool compress the coil spring so that there was the possibility of its removal.
  5. Remove the car spring, limiting the compression stroke and the upper rubber bushing.
  6. Inspect the spring for cracks, deformation and signs of weakening force that. If possible, compare the length of the spring with a new one.
  7. Check the compression stroke limiter for damage and signs of aging of the material.

Setting

Installation is in the reverse order.

Make sure that the upper spring seat turned out to be located in the right way, limiting the compression stroke hit the inside of the spring.
