Removing and installing interior handles, trim panels and the lock mechanism

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Give the screw securing the inner lining of the handle remote drive lock to the door. Remove the trim.
  2. Gently prying with a small screwdriver with a flat screwdriver, remove the internal handle finishing lining. Give fixing screws and remove the handle from the door.
  3. Thread the flat, wide sting a thin screwdriver between trim panels and door frame as close as possible to one of the clamps. Alternately releasing latches, remove the trim panel.

When removing door trim panel plastic clips should be left secured to the rear side of the panel. If the latches to keep the inner door panel, they may be damaged. In case of problems, use the appropriate cutter blade for cutting the lock which must start between the panel trim and door frame. Try not to damage the finish and paint the door.

  1. Give the speaker mounting screws, remove the wiring and remove the speaker from the panel of the door.
  1. Carefully separate from the inner door panel sealing polymer film, set it aside. The left wing of the tailgate to remove the panel trim and sealing film is shown in the accompanying illustration.
  1. Disconnect from the castle executive rod off button, releasing it from the plastic retainer. Remove the stem from the door. Components of a drive tailgate shown in the accompanying illustration.

  1. Give nuts to the inner door panel heel lock.
  2. On models with central locking disconnect executive rod drive motor from the lock mechanism.
  3. Remove the stem from the executive arm of the lock cylinder.
  4. Grasp with pliers to turn away up over the edge of the lock cylinder of the lock and remove the retainer from the groove in the body of the lock.
  5. Remove the door lock cylinder together with a sealant.
  6. Give fixing nuts and remove the door from the outside handle.
  7. Give fixing screws and remove the door lock mechanism with the fifth.

Setting

Installation is in the reverse order.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. If necessary, before installation grease lubricated universal locking mechanism.
  2. Ensure proper placement on the door sealing film. Torn or otherwise damaged film should be replaced.
  3. Check the condition of clamps panel finishes. Replace defective.
  4. Install the trim panel to the door, snapping it firmly locks.

  1. Give fixing screws and remove the finishing trim to door pillar.
  2. Give the screw securing the lock handle drive heel. Remove the handle.
  3. If necessary, using the impact screwdriver, screws give heel lock. Remove the heel to the door. The components of the drive mechanism and the right wing of the castle door lock shown in the accompanying illustration.

  1. Give a nut and bolt of the top lock and remove the lock assembly with an executive rod from the door.
  2. Give fixing nuts and remove the lower castle with the lower edge of the door.

Setting

Installation is in the reverse order.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. If necessary, prior to installation, lubricate the lock mechanism of the universal lubricant.
  2. Ensure proper placement on the door sealing film. Torn or otherwise damaged film should be replaced.
  3. Check the condition of clamps panel finishes. Replace defective.
  4. Install the trim panel to the door, snapping it firmly locks.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Marker circle hinges.

If the removal is done right wing doors, you must first remove the spare tire assembly to facilitate the weight of the door.

  1. Give the screws that secure the rear combination lamp, partially remove the lamp unit from the side of the panel to be the removal of the door leaf.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors and wiring, remove the rubber lining equipped through a hole in the door pillar.
  3. When removing the right wing and disconnect the fluid hose washing the windshield.
  4. Remove the pin stop opening the door, knocking it out of the bracket upwards using a punch and a hammer.
  5. Ask the assistant to hold the door and give the bolts to the body of the loop.

Setting

Installation is in the reverse order.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Before installation, lubricate door hinges sealant.
  2. Before you close the door to check the correctness of its position, make sure that the loop are installed in accordance with applied during the dismantling of the landing labels.
  3. With drift and hammer, install a door opening limiter pin.
  4. Connect wiring and check that the operation of all components of the door before installing the rear combination lamp.
  5. Gently close the door and check its location relative to the vehicle body panels. If necessary, make the adjustment, loosen the screws for which loops and accordingly tweak the position of the door.
