Diagnostics, disassembly, and adjustment of the carburetor
Before you make a conclusion about the problem, check the carburetor setting plug gaps in the candlelight and valves, compression in the cylinders.
If these checks cause of poor performance of the engine is detected, the carburetor must be removed for cleaning and repairs.
Dismantling the carburettor is required as a rule are very rare. In most cases requires only cleaning nozzles and internal channels.
Dismantling
PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Remove the spring from the throttle lever and check the wear of the accelerating pump. | 2. Remove the spring and spring retaining rings and remove the lever. | 3. Disconnect the choke rod. | 4. Remove the screws and carefully remove the upper section of the housing. | 5. Check for contamination in the float chamber. | 6. Remove the first spring of the accelerating pump, retaining ring, filter and remove the bulb. | 7. Remove the cover and take out the second spring of the accelerating pump, a counterweight (check valve) and a ball. | 8. Remove the pump piston and check the wear of the piston and cylinder. | 9. Knock out the axis of the float, remove the float needle valve and float chamber gasket (some carburetor needle valve seat can not be removed). | 10. Before dismantling remember the location of all nozzles. | 11. Remove all fuel and air jets from both chambers, air jets idling secondary chamber is prohibited to turn out. | 12. Remove the cap and jets idling of the midships section. | 13. Remove the screws and remove the small diffusers, remove the emulsion tube. | 14. Remove the main jet of the primary chamber of the wall of the float chamber. | 15. Remove the main jet of the secondary chamber. | 16. Remove the restrictive sleeve and tighten the screw until it touches the hole, counting the number of revolutions. | 17. Remove the screw. | 18. If necessary, turn spool valves, carefully remove the seals and springs. | 19. Check the reel - at a 12V plungers must be drawn. | 20. On cars with neutralizer, if necessary, remove the valve can maintain the composition of the mixture, which disconnect a wire, unscrew and remove the valve. | 21. Clean the nozzles using special tools (compressed air purging is not recommended, as this may damage the diaphragm carburetor). | 22. Wash the body parts. | 23. Check the curvature of the hull sections of split planes. | 24. If necessary, remove electrical parts carburetor, disconnect the wire of this part of the connector. | | 25. To this end, a thin screwdriver (1, 4) pull the latch output (5) and push the output to the wire (2) pre-remove a lock ring at the rear of the connector. | 26. Label each wire. | 27. When assembling replace worn parts and the whole set of gaskets and seals. | 28. The assembly is performed in reverse order. | 29. Do not tighten the jets a great effort. | 30. Before installing the carburetor, do the necessary adjustments. |

Adjustment of turns of idling and quality of a mix
See. Subsection 2.2.2.
Adjusting the level of fuel in the float chamber
| The arrow indicates the viewing window in the casing of the carburettor. |
A warning The fuel level in the float chamber can be checked through the viewing window. At idle, the level should be between the two marks.
PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Adjust the amounts to the following. | 2. Lift and lower the float needle valve and to measure the distance between the float and the plane of the body of the carburetor. | 3. If the distance is different from the norm, then adjust by gently bending the lever axis. | 4. Turn the carburetor body, and check the distance between the lower edge of the float and the split plane. | 5. If the distance is different from the norm, then adjust by gently bending the tab stop. |

Adjusting the angle of the throttle opening
PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Remove the three screws and remove the thermo and the ring. | 2. Turn the carburetor, open the throttle and move the lever increased idle speed to the second stage of the cam. Because of the adjustment screw valve will be slightly ajar. | 3. Make sure that the air damper is closed completely. | | 4. Move the lever povyshennh idle speed to the second stage of the cam. | | 5. The drill, check the clearance (A) between the throttle valve and the chamber wall. | 6. If necessary, set the backlash, turning the adjusting screw. | 7. Set the ring and thermo. | 8. Align the marks on the roof of the actuator and the air damper on the housing and tighten the screws. |

Adjusting the air flap
| 1. Tongue
2. Vacuum pump
3. Pneumatic
4. Aperture
5. Gap |
PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Pull the rod and fully close the choke. | 2. Fully push the plunger into the diaphragm acting screwdriver, or by creating a vacuum in the diaphragm. | 3. Check the clearance between the drill and the wall of the air damper chamber (at a temperature below 5 ? C as a control using the value of the gap for the 1st position above 16,5 ? C - for 2nd position). | 4. If necessary, adjust the gap podgibaniem tab. |
