Throttle potentiometer

Throttle potentiometer mounted on the rear side of the throttle body.

Before his removal, disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Refitting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the connection of the throttle potentiometer.
2. Using a white paint or marker make a mark on the throttle body and the potentiometer.
3. Remove the two screws and remove the pot.
4. When installing, set the potentiometer to the throttle body so that the lever is correctly positioned on the axis of the throttle lever.
5. Align the marks made before removal, and slightly tighten the screws. Adjust potentiometer as follows.
6. Using a tester, set the measurement of resistance, check that the potentiometer resistance was as stated in the specifications (see. Subsection 6.3.2.1). If necessary, loosen the screws and turn the potentiometer to the resistance was as stated in the specifications.
7. When the potentiometer is set correctly, tighten the mounting screws, and connect the connection socket.
8. Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
