Before adjusting the shift cable, check that the gearbox, clutch and clutch control is in order. In addition, the gear lever must move smoothly and without jerks.
PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Set the shift lever to the neutral position and tighten a manual brake. | 2. Release and lift the protective gear lever gaiter. | 3. Loosen the bolt lock on the gearbox (A, see. Fig. At p. 4, sub-section 8.1.1). | | 4. Remove the bolt rope gear (A) and nut from the cable end preselect gear (B) so that the shift cable to move freely in the longitudinal holes. | 5. In the passenger compartment, unscrew the bolt at the front of the gear lever housing (C, see. Fig. Adjust the gearshift) and set the adjuster 3422. | 6. Fixing hook adjuster put a plate and screw (D, see. Fig. Adjust the gearshift). The shift lever to the left, slide into the slots of the slide adjuster. | 7. The gear lever and slide the adjuster to the left to stop the slide and rigidly fix the screw (E, see. Fig. Adjust the gearshift). | 8. Move the shift lever to the right in the slot and tighten the adjuster bolt (C) torque 15 Nm. | | 9. Install the plate with a slot and the guide pin in the shift lever on the transmission. Slide plate between the gear lever and the cover up until it will not be tough to sit, but it should not lift the gear shift lever. | 10. In this position, fasten the two cable gear, with the cable between the stop and the clamping bolt must be tight, and pull the plate with the guide pin, and the adjuster. Bolt (A, see. Fig. At p. 4), tighten to 25 Nm, and a nut (B) torque 15 Nm. | 11. Install the protective cover of the gear lever. | 12. Tighten the bolt lock on the gearbox 25 Nm. |
