Removing and installing drive shaft



Drive shaft with ball constant velocity joint

1 - Self-locking dvenadtsatigrannaya

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Raise the vehicle and remove the front wheel.
2. Remove the twelve point nut on the drive shaft to the hub. To keep the hub from turning when loosening nut assistant must press the brake pedal.

5. Reject the outside of the vehicle spring strut and remove the drive shaft from the steering knuckle.

Cars with automatic transmission
7. Remove the two screws that secure the pendulum support of the power unit to the beam.
8. Insert mount between the beam and the engine block and the cylinder block to move forward at the same time remove the hinge tripoidnogo type.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before installing the drive shaft, clean the splines on the drive shaft and wheel hub.
2. Align the slots and insert the drive shaft into the wheel hub.
3. Clean the support surface for the twelve-nuts and lubricate it with a thin layer of oil.
4. Screw the new twelve-nuts.
5. Fully insert the outer joint of the drive shaft into the wheel hub.
6. Screw new bolts the front suspension lower ball joint to the cross arm and tighten bolts to 20 Nm, then turn them by 90 ?�.
7. Screw the drive shaft to the transmission flange and tighten the bolts to 40 Nm.
Cars with automatic transmission
8. Screw in and tighten the bolts pendular support of the power unit to a beam of 25 Nm.
9. Screw the twelve-nut of the drive shaft and tighten it to a torque of 300 Nm. To keep the hub from turning the assistant must press the brake pedal.
10. Remove the twelve point nut one turn.
11. Tighten the twelve point nut to 50 Nm, then turn at an angle of 30 ?�.
12. dovorachivaniya dodecahedral nuts at an angle of 30 ?�, apply a label on the teeth nuts (arrow A) and the second mark on the hub opposite to the adjacent tooth (arrow B) and dovorachivaya nut, align the label.
13. Install the front wheels, then lower the car and tighten the wheel nuts.
14. Install the wheel covers.
