Pressure regulator

Pressure regulator changes the braking force to the rear wheels, depending on vehicle load. Thus, the probability of blocking the rear wheels and improves the stability of the car under braking. The pressure regulator (Fig. 12.19) is situated on the left on the rear axle and is operated by a spring (Fig. 12.20).

Check the regulator performed as follows: work is carried out in a state where the vehicle is on wheels; ask the assistant to control the operation of the pressure regulator. Click to lock and release the brake pedal, and the control lever knob should be fixed.
