The wheel cylinder rear brake
Removing the wheel cylinder using the following procedure: cnimite brake drum; press a brake hose between the rear axle and the bottom, suitable clamp. Remove the wheel brake cylinder (Fig. 12.12) and disconnect the brake hose. To avoid the loss of brake fluid and dirt in the hose, shut off his cap. Check the condition of the piston and cylinder for wear, corrosion and other defects; set the cuff on the piston so that the sealing lip is facing towards the brake fluid pressure; insert the left piston in the wheel cylinder; Insert the spring on the right, loosen the bleeder valve and insert the second piston; Install the dust caps. Install the wheel cylinder rear brake sequence is as follows: Wipe the brake board and remove the plug from the brake hose; Screw the brake cylinder on the brake hose and install the cylinder on a brake board; tighten the cylinder bolts; Install the brake pads and brake drum; remove the clip from the brake hose; bleed the brake system.
