Vacuum brake booster



Check of the vacuum amplifier
Press the brake pedal 5-6 times at the idle engine to create in cavities of the vacuum amplifier the identical pressure close to atmospheric pressure.
According to the applied pedal force determine whether jamming of the valve body.
Stopping the brake pedal in the middle of its course, start up the engine. At the serviceable vacuum amplifier the pedal of a brake after engine start should leave forward. If not, check the attachment of the tip of the hose condition and attachment flange of the tip of the amplifier, and the state of the hose and fittings.
Check the condition of the unidirectional valve for wear and damage. Replace if necessary. The valve can be checked by blowing air over it in both directions. If the valve must be free to allow air from the vacuum brake booster to a vacuum hose.

Removal of the vacuum amplifier
Removal in the following order:
- Remove the brake master cylinder;
- In the car with the driver's side, remove the lower instrument panel trim;
- Remove the retaining ring and remove the pin from the brake pedal pusher;
- Disconnect the vacuum hose with a one-way valve from the vacuum brake booster;
- Unscrew the nuts-ray sensing hydraulic unit;
- Remove the brake servo from the engine compartment;
- Remove the rubber O-ring seal and if necessary replace it.

Setting servo
The amplifier spend to sequences, return to removal, after inflicting on a pin with a head and an aperture under a pin drop universal lubricant.
