Removal of air from the hydraulic circuit brake system

Air in the hydraulic brake reduces the effectiveness of the brakes. The air can get into the hydraulic system due to depressurization of the repair or replacement of individual units as well as the replacement of brake fluid. The presence of air in the actuator shows enlarged in comparison with the usual brake pedal. Before air removal check up tightness of all knots of a drive of brakes and their connections.
Removal of air from the hydraulic circuit brake system in the following order:
remove the air from the wheel series: the right rear, left rear, right front, left front:
cnimite connector from the brake fluid level in the tank;
remove and set aside the tank cover;
remove the dust cap from the union of the valve of the wheel cylinder. Clean the valve pumping and put on it the pure transparent hose which other end lower in the capacity partially filled with brake fluid. The tank should be at least 300 mm above the bleeder. This prevents the ingress of air into the cylinder through a carving bleeder;
sharply depress the brake pedal 3-5 times at intervals of 2-3 seconds and loosen the pedal is pressed half-turn valve pumping. Continuing to press the pedal box in the expel liquid together with air through the hose into the container. Once the pedal rests on the floor and the discharge of liquid through a hose will stop, will screw the valve to stop bleeding;
repeat step until no air is air from the hose;
Keep the pedal pressed, screw up to the stop valve and remove the hose;
Wipe pumping valve and install the protective cap;
Repeat the same operation for the other wheel;
when removing air monitor the level in the reservoir. Do not allow the fluid has left the tank, as this again will get in the air. In the absence of the drive brake Air brake pedal should pass about half of course. To eliminate the influence of the vacuum amplifier, pumping systems spend with the engine off;
after pumping the brake system, install the cover on the reservoir and connect the pin connector.
Removal of air from brake system hydraulic drive vehicles equipped with ABS. Operation pumping the brakes on vehicles equipped with ABS, broadly similar to that described, differing from it only by a number of nuances.
Removal of air from hydraulic drive spending in the following order:
first remove the air from the front and then the rear wheels;
to reduce the pressure in the hydraulic braking system at leveling front and rear brake, press the brake pedal twenty times with the ignition off. Fill the master cylinder reservoir to the top and make sure that the fluid level when bleeding does not fall below the minimum mark;
for pumping the rear brake, press the brake pedal is twenty times with the ignition off and hold it down. Turn on the ignition, loosen the relevant rear valve pumping the brakes and hold it in this position for as long as from the flow of fluid, air bubbles, and then tighten the valve and pumping off the ignition;
Do not allow continuous operation of the pump for more than 2 minutes at a time. If the bleeding will require more time, turn off the pump and continue operation after 10 minutes.
