Compression Test
Test condition Engine oil temperature must be at least 30 ?� C.
The order of execution of works Remove the air filter. Remove the ignition coil. To do this, use a wheel puller. Remove the spark plug spark plug wrench.
Remove the fuse from the fuse holder SD34 right front panel (Fig. 2.44).
NOTE By removing the fuse SD34 interrupted power control unit of the fuel pump. Measure compression using compression tester. |
NOTE Maintenance compressometer described in the corresponding manual. |
Scroll to the starter until the compression gauge stops to show growth pressure. Compression: - A new engine - 10-15 barg. The maximum tolerance of 7 barg. Permissible differences between the individual cylinders 3 bar. Screw the spark plug spark plug wrench and tighten them to a torque of 30 Nm. Further installation is performed in reverse order. Interrogate fault memory, eliminate the presence of any errors, and then clear the memory. After clearing the fault memory is necessary to create a code of readiness (Readinesscode).
