Removing and installing V-ribbed belt



Withdrawal
Remove protection crankcase.
Mark direction of travel V-ribbed belt.

Turning the tensioner

To loosen the V-ribbed belt, turn tensioner with a wrench 16 in the direction (Fig. 2.13).
Secure tensioning element Allen key 3.
Remove ribbed belt.

Setting
Please put ribbed belt on the crankshaft pulley. The last stretch to the belt tensioning pulley.
Further installation is performed in reverse order.

NOTE
Before installing poly V-belt, check and tighten all assemblies (generator, air conditioning compressor).
When installing poly V-belt Check the direction of rotation and correct seating of the belt on the belt pulley.

Start the engine and check the progress of the belt.
