Replacing valve stem seals



Withdrawal (if installed cylinder head)
Remove the EGR valve.
Remove the crankcase the camshaft.
Remove the roller lever and place them on a clean surface. Roller levers places do not change.
Remove the spark plug spark plug wrench.
Bring the piston of the corresponding cylinder in the "bottom dead center".

Install special tool

Screw clamp for valve springs with the mandrel (Fig. 2.53).
Now screw the pressure hose into the spark plug hole.
Apply pressure hose through the compressed air at a pressure of at least 6 bar and remove the valve springs.
Remove the valve stem seals using special tools 3364.

Setting
Put on appropriate valve stem included in the repair kit plastic cover. This prevents damage to the new valve stem seals.
Install the new valve stem seal in the device for pressing the valve stem seal.

Grease a working edge of the valve stem seal and carefully spread on the valve guide (Fig. 2.54).
Install camshaft housing.
Adjust the timing.
Further installation is performed in reverse order. It is necessary to consider the following.
Install the timing cover.
Install the fuel lines.
Install the EGR valve
