Control supply voltage
To check the supply voltage, do the following: - Check the fuse ? 18. In case of failure replace; - Switch on the ignition. The fuel pump should start with short-term noise to be heard. If necessary, bend to the fuel tank, to hear the noise. If the pump does not work, carry out the following work: - Unscrew the cover in the trunk of the tank gauge and disconnect the fuel pump; - Using Fig. 120, take out the four-pole connector of the fuel pump. To do this, use a small screwdriver to lift slightly on the sides of retaining lugs;

- Connect the diode probe or voltmeter to both external contacts of the plug, as shown in Fig. 120. The electrical connector 1 is disconnected from the fuel flange assembly. The meter should show about 12 V. If the voltage is not as specified, to identify and eliminate the cause of the cliff, using electrical circuit; - If the device shows 12, remove the sensor from the tank, as described below; - Check the wiring between the flange and the fuel pump and having a good contact; - If the break is not detected, replace the fuel pump, as described hereinafter.
