Substitution cuff camshaft

Replace the cuff of a camshaft can be done during a motor.
The cuff is behind the timing pulley. To dismantle it, use the special tool 2085. Otherwise the cuff is extruded, you can use the hook.
To remove the cuffs camshaft must do the following:
- Loosen the tensioner for V-ribbed belt and remove the belt;
- Remove the damper;
- Disconnect the upper and lower protective sheet from the front of the engine;
- The crankshaft to rotate until the first cylinder is at TDC rise. At the same time the use of a label of ignition;
- Loosen the tensioner toothed belt and remove the belt, considering the recommendations referred to in Section. 2.7.1. You can attach the strap properly so that it can not slip from the pulleys. But do not pull the belt, because otherwise it is deformed. Now, you can not rotate the crankshaft, as one of the piston is at top dead center;
- Block accordingly camshaft pulley and unscrew the pulley bolt. Remove the bolt and washer;
- Remove the camshaft pulley;
- With the help of pliers to remove the woodruff key from the camshaft;
- Removed from the cylinder head located behind the pulley camshaft cover;
- Using Fig. 55, the stripper plate 2085 to turn the inner part A 2 turns (about 3 mm) of the female part and to lock it in this position by the handle B.

To replace the cuff, do the following:
- Lubricate the screw head of the tool, enter it, passing along the shaft, the cuff and drive into a rubber mallet. The handle should fit as shown in Fig. 56, the left side of the console;

Use a stripper to remove the cuffs

- Screw as far as possible into the cuff puller while clicking on the slip ratchet clutch;
- Loosen the knurled B (see. Fig 55 and Fig. 56) and rotate the inner part in the direction of the camshaft before the cuff;
- Clamp the tool in a vice and remove the cuff.
Lubricate the sealing lip, and a command of the new oil cuff. To install a new sleeve cuffs use of suitable diameter, long bolt and large washer (bolt should match the diameter of the bolt for the camshaft pulley). Bush should be fully seated on the outer diameter of the cuff. Set the cuff and sleeve, as shown in Fig. 57 and a bolt to tighten until the cuff is flush with the lid. If you do not have sleeves, the collar can be pressed through the barbs blows until it is flush with the cover. Cuff embed not fully, because otherwise it could block the oil drain. When using the latter method must take into account the danger of damage.
