Replacing the oil seal drive shaft of the generator
The order of works (vehicles with letter designations Engine AYH, BKW) Demontirute fuel filter.
Cars with engines of BLE and BWF Remove the cover from the bypass recirculation cooler.
Assembly operations for all vehicles Remove the three-phase generator.
NOTE When removing the oil seal, make sure that the landing surface was not damaged. |
Carefully remove the old seal ring using puller T20143 / 1 (Fig. 2.178). Remove excess oil from the drive shaft of the three-phase generator with a clean cloth.
Squeeze the inner part of the gland out as shown in Figure 2.179.
Screw the guide sleeve T10208 / 1 from the hand to the drive shaft of the three-phase generator and carefully install the oil seal A to the stop (Fig. 2.180). First, set the focus T10208 / 2, then press in the inner part of the gland until it stops.
First, set the focus T10208 / 3, then press in the outer part of the gland until it stops (Fig. 2.181). Further installation is performed in reverse order.
