The timing

The order of execution of works
Remove the engine and transmission.
Remove the fuel pump and a tandem-type cylinder head.
Remove sound insulation and covers to cylinder heads.
Remove the soundproof cover and cylinder head cover.
Rotate the engine with the counter support T10172, is at least one camshaft stopper will not be installed.

Installation of special devices to control
Fig. 2.197. Installation of special devices to control

Set the fixed gear camshaft jig T10199 and Okrut camshaft gear bolt. Now, gear is free to rotate on the camshaft (Fig. 2.197).
If you have installed only one stop of the camshaft:
Turn the motor shaft by a counter support T10172, Camshaft retainer until the other row of cylinders will not be installed.
Set the jig T10199 gear on the camshaft Remove the bolt and gear. Now, gear is free to rotate on the camshaft.
Remove the vibration damper. Use a counter support T10172 bolt T10172 / 1.

Installation adjusters
Fig. 2.199. Installation adjusters

Screw the stopper T10195 crankshaft to the end of the crankshaft. At the same care that the adjusting pin (Fig. 2.199).
Then carefully rotate the crankshaft until crankshaft stop lug T10195 will not get into the calibration hole.
Install clamp T10199 / 1 as shown in Figure 2.199, and tighten the clamp bolts to a torque tool 70 Nm.

Eliminating backlash gear
Fig. 2.200. Eliminating backlash gear

Torque wrench (40-200 Nm) VA G 1332 in tetrahedron clamping tool and push with a force of 80 Nm against the direction of rotation of the motor shaft to eliminate backlash gear (Fig. 2.200).
Bank 1: in the direction of the arrow.
Bank 2: against the direction of the arrow.
Without relaxing the pressure, tighten the screws fixing the camshaft gears with the help of the nozzle end T10198 to 50 N ? m.
Remove the jig T10199 / 1.
Set the jig - T10199 gear on the camshaft.

NOTE
Make sure that the jig T10199 securely seated on the cylinder head.
Tighten bolts jig T10199 with a torque of 40 Nm.
Then tighten the camshaft gear using the nozzle end T10198. Torque: 150 Nm + to tighten 1/4 turn (90 ?).
Remove the jig T10199.
Remove the stopper from the distributive and cranked shaft.
Make two rotations of the crankshaft in the direction of rotation of the motor shaft until the crankshaft will not rise again in the position of the dead point of the first cylinder.
Use stoppers distributive and cranked shaft at the same time.
