general information

Described in this manual car models equipped with sequential multi-point fuel injection (MPFI). The system uses temporal pulses to provide sequential injection of fuel directly into the intake port of each cylinder. Work injectors controls the power control module (PCM). RSM monitors various engine parameters and based on an analysis of the received information determines the exact amount of fuel, which currently has to be injected in sequence into the inlet ports of the engine.

All models are equipped with an electric fuel pump mounted in the fuel tank. To provide access to the fuel tank above the pump must be removed. The fuel level sensor directly built into the fuel pump from the tank and extracted in a similar same way.

The exhaust system consists of the exhaust manifold (s), Catalytic converter, exhaust pipes and mufflers. Each of these components can be replaced individually. For more information on the catalytic converter is presented in Chapter systems reduce emissions and engine management.
