Adjustment of corners of installation of forward wheels



Preliminary checks

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check tire pressure and if necessary bring it to the recommended.
2. Check the front wheel bearing play and, if necessary, replace the bearing.
3. Check the beating of wheels and tires.
4. Check the ball joint and steering gear for a high wear.
5. The car should be on a level surface and do not have any cargo or passengers.
6. To test the car shock absorber shake in the vertical direction.

Checking the total toe

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the front of the vehicle so that the front wheels turned over the earth.
2. Turn the wheel by hand and mark with chalk line down the center of the tires.
3. Set the front wheels in the direction of rectilinear motion and set the vehicle on a level surface.
4. Measure the distance A and B.

Toe: 3 ?� 3 mm


Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Loosen the lock nuts of the left and right connecting rods and connecting rods rotate on the same amount.

A warning

One turn of the connecting rod (on both sides) changes a positive convergence of about 6 mm.


2. Tighten the lock nuts connecting rods.

Torque: 70-100 N ??? m

Checking the maximum angle of rotation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Install both front wheels into the template turning radius.

Inner side: 31,19 ?�
The outside: 36,17 ?�


Adjusting the maximum angle of rotation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Loosen the lock nuts of the left and right connecting rods and connecting rods rotate on the same amount.

The maximum difference between the left and right rods: 3 mm
2. Tighten the lock nuts connecting rods.

Torque: 70-100 N ??? m
3. After adjusting the angle of rotation, check and adjust the positive convergence.

Check collapse and angle Caster

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Place the front wheel on the device for measuring the radius of the turn and remove the locking nut of a nave.
2. Secure the hub device for measuring camber / caster angle caster.

3. Measure the camber / caster angle caster.

Camber 0 ?� 42 '?� 45'
Caster Angle: 2 ?� Z0 '?� 45'

4. Remove the device for measuring camber / caster angle caster.
5. Tighten new lock nut and hub stake the them.

Torque: 235-319 N ??? m

Adjusting camber and angle Caster

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the front of the car and establish it on reliable support.
2. Remove the screws holding block.
3. Click on the mounting block and turn it to the right direction.
4. Re-screw the nuts of the mounting block and tighten their demanded moment.

Torque: 46-63 N ??? m
