Repair strut front suspension

Damper strut

1 - a cover;
2 - the nut of the piston rod;
3 - rubber element;
4 - ball bearings;
5 - the top support plate spring;
6 - upper rubber support ring of the spring;

7 - dust cover;
8 - stroke limiter;
9 - coil spring;
10 - the bottom rubber support ring of the spring;
11 - shock.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Dismantling spend in the sequence shown in the figure, taking into account the following.
2. Secure the spring strut in a vise.
A warning Close sponges of a vice plates from a soft material (copper plates).
3. Loosen the nut on the stem two to three turns.
A warning Do not remove the nut completely.
	4. The special adaptation compress a spring strut front suspension.
5. Remove the retaining nut and remove the washer.
6. Remove the rubber element, ball bearings, the upper bearing plate springs, upper rubber support ring of the spring, dust cover, limit switch, coil spring and the bottom rubber support ring spring.
7. Check the condition of all details and, if necessary, repair or replace them.
8. Reassembly is the reverse order shown in the figure, taking into account the following.
9. Install the coil spring, placing the end of the spring in the protrusion of the lower support ring.
10. Adjust the forward stroke.
