Repair the rear spring strut



1 - a nut;
2 - rubber element;
3 - the top plate of a spring;
4 - dust cover;
5 - stop forward stroke;
6 - coil spring;
7 - lower cam ring spring;
8 - shock.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Dismantling spend in the sequence shown in the figure, taking into account the following.
2. Secure the spring strut in a vise.

A warning

Close sponges of a vice plates from a soft material (copper plates).


3. Loosen the nut on the stem two to three turns.

A warning

Do not remove the nut completely.


4. The special adaptation compress a spring strut front suspension.
5. Check the condition of all details and, if necessary, repair or replace them.
6. Assemblage spend to sequences, return shown on drawing, taking into account the following.
7. Install the coil spring, placing the end of the spring in the protrusion of the lower support ring.
8. Adjust the forward stroke.
