Hydraulic control unit (HCV)

The hydraulic control HCV consists of a pump with an electric motor and a valve assembly for controlling the pressure of ABS. The sensor is located in the motor and pump unit transmits the output signal ABS, which defines the performance of the pump.

The diameter of the front opening of the pipe supplying the brake fluid:

The front left and rear right brake: 12 mm
Front right and rear left brake: 10 mm

The pump with two circuits provide the required pressure and flow valves distribute the pressure transmitted to the wheel brake.

MAIN SWITCH

The main relay when the ignition energizes the block of management ABS.

Motor relay

Motor relay signals the ABS control unit supplies power to the pump motor.

Suppressor (D 1)

Protects motor relay high voltage when power to the motor through a pump motor relay, to prevent wear or sticking contacts.

DIODE (D2)

Includes ABS warning lamp in the open circuit block of management ABS.

SELF ABS

ABS control unit starts the self-test after the ignition. Troubleshooting in each chain and each node occurs by comparing the parameter of the system to its limit specified in the block of management ABS. ABS control unit stores the fault code and displays four digits of this code with control lamp ABS when combined with housing O ABS diagnostic socket.

Check self-diagnosis codes

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. With the ignition off, connect a wire contact L Diagnostic connector with the withdrawal of housing.
2. Turn on the ignition and disconnect a wire. The program will start to self-employment.
3. After 1.2 seconds after the start of the program self-diagnosis indicator lamp blinks once, and after another 2.5 seconds to start the output of fault codes.

A warning

Fault code - four digits, which are continuously displayed until contact is again L is not connected to the case.

To display the following code to connect lead wires L and housing by 2.5 seconds, and then disconnect the wire.

After the withdrawal of all codes of light will blink continuously for 2.5 seconds.

To stop the output of fault codes, connect a wire contact L and the housing is not less than 2.5 seconds, then remove the wire and switch off the ignition.

Information about some of the faults stored in the control unit ABS, may be lost if the car is moving at a speed exceeding 30 km / h.

4. Use the list of fault codes identified a faulty assembly and repair it in accordance with the procedures of self.
5. After repair, erase trouble codes stored in the block of management ABS.

How to read trouble codes

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Read the four-digit fault code on the image on and off the warning light ABS.

Erasing fault codes

The ABS control unit provides a program automatically erase the DTC, which works in two stages.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. It is the right to perform the output DTC and display all the stored codes.
2. When all connections (cable and so on. N.) Run the vehicle to a speed of 30 km / h with the ignition.

The hydraulic control unit (HCV)

1 - the brake pipe;
2 - a socket;
3 - a nut;
4 - bracket;
5 - hydraulic control unit HCV;
6 - the plug;
7 - a bolt;
8 - the relay bracket ABS;
9 - bracket ABS;
10 - main relay ABS;
11 - motor relay ABS.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect from the hydraulic control unit.
3. Disconnect all the brake pipes.
4. Remove the nut, then remove the hydraulic control unit.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.

The inhaling moment: 18,6-25,5 N ??? m

Speed sensor

The speed sensor detects the rotation of the wheel and comprises a permanent magnet and a pickup coil. Speed sensors are attached to the front wheel drive shaft speed sensors of the rear wheels - the rear hub to the spindle.

With the passage of rotor teeth near the sensor changes the magnetic field sensor, whereby the generated voltage pulse. This voltage is proportional to the wheel speed, and its period may change. Determining the period, it is possible to obtain speed information.

ABS warning lamp

Control lamp ABS, located in the instrument cluster comes on for 2 seconds after the ignition is switched on.

If the ABS warning lamp does not go out 2 seconds after the ignition is switched on, or lights up periodically, so in ABS there are infringements.

If there is violation of the brake system works like a standard braking system.
