The main brake cylinder



The main brake cylinder and brake servo

1 - Connector brake fluid level;
2 - the brake pipe;
3 - a nut;
4 - a tank;
5 - O-ring;
6 - the brake servo.

Refitting
A warning

The brake liquid dissolves a paint, plastic and wire insulation, so if you accidentally hit fluid on the paintwork of the car or its components wash with plenty of water.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the connector from the brake fluid level.
3. Disconnect the brake pipes from the brake master cylinder and close their plastic stoppers for a hit exception in them a dirt.
4. Remove the two nuts securing the master cylinder.
5. Remove the brake master cylinder.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Use the special tool to measure the gap between the brake servo pushrod and the piston of the master cylinder.

Clearance: 0 mm
2. If the backlash differs from the nominal value, adjust it by rotating the pusher.

3. Use an ohmmeter to check the conductivity of brake fluid level when the liquid level is below MIN.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. When installing a new brake master cylinder pushrod adjust the position of the brake servo.
2. Install the brake master cylinder to the brake servo and screw the two nuts.
3. Tighten the two nuts securing the master cylinder.

The inhaling moment: 9,8-15,7 N ??? m

4. Connect the two tubes of brake system.
5. Tighten the nuts tubes of brake system.

The inhaling moment: 1,8-21,6 N ??? m

6. Connect to the brake fluid level.
7. Top up the brake fluid and bleed the hydraulic circuit brake system.
8. Attach the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
