Wiper Motor

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. An ohmmeter check for continuity between the motor connector terminals. In the OFF conductivity should be between 4 and 5, in the LOW position - between the terminals 5 and 6 and in position HIGH - between terminals 3 and 6.

2. If conductivity is absent, replace the motor.

3. Check the engine speed when submitting additional wires to the battery voltage at the terminals of the motor connector. Connect the battery negative terminal to terminal 6 of the connector. When connecting the positive battery terminal to terminal 5 engine to run at low speed, and when connected to terminal 3 of the motor must rotate at a high speed.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the levers and the wiper blade.

3. Remove the nut, loosen the clamps and remove the vent chamber at the base of the windshield.

4. Remove the engine and pull the wiper.

Disconnect the connector from the wiper motor.
Remove the two screws on the wiper mechanism.
Separate the motor from the wiper linkage.

5. Remove the three screws and remove the wiper motor to the wiper mechanism.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Screw the three screws on the wiper motor wiper mechanism.
2. Install the wiper motor and traction.

Attach the ball joint to pull the wiper motor wiper.
Replace and tighten the two mounting bolts.
Connect the wiring harness connector to the wiper motor.

3. Install the grille plenum.
4. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
