Windshield Wiper Motor



Windshield and rear window

1 - grille hood;
2 - the wiper arm of the windscreen;
3 - windscreen wiper motor;
4 - pull the windshield wiper;
5 - rear window wiper arm;
6 - rear window wiper motor.

Check the frequency of wiper

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unplug the connector from the wiper motor.
2. Additional wires connect the positive battery terminal to terminal 4 of the connector and the negative terminal - to terminal 1.
3. Make sure that the wiper motor operates at low speed.
4. Additional wires connect the positive battery terminal to terminal 4 of the connector and the negative terminal - to terminal 2.
5. Make sure that the wiper motor runs at high speed.

Checking the brushes for automatic stop in the initial state

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn the engine at low speeds.
2. Disconnect the wires from pin 1, stop the engine in any position other than the original.
3. Connect pins 1 and 5 of the connector.
4. Additional wires connect the positive battery terminal to terminal 4 of the connector and the negative terminal - to terminal 3.
5. Check that the wiper motor is switched off in the starting position of the wiper blades.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the wiper arm on the axis in the starting position.
2. Screw the arm nuts and tighten them to the specified torque.

Torque: 18-22 N ??? m

3. Place the lid on the nut and check the windshield wiper. Wiper blades should stop in a starting position at a distance of 41 mm from the front passenger, and - 40 mm from the driver.
