Switch range gearbox



Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check that the starter only works when you turn the ignition key to the START position and selector lever to position P or N.
2. Check that the rear lights are lit only when moving the selector lever into position R, and the ignition key in position START.
3. Check that the position of the selector lever and the indicator chosen position coincide.
4. Otherwise, check the transmission range switch.

Check conduction

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the switch of a range gearbox.
3. Check for continuity between the switch contacts range gearbox.
4. If the conductivity does not correspond demanded, adjust or replace the switch range gearbox.
5. Connect the switch of a range gearbox.
6. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Lift up the diagnostic connector on the sensor meter of air flow (MAF).
3. Disconnect the air temperature sensor and the air flow meter.
4. Remove the intake of fresh air and the air filter housing.
5. Remove the nuts. Disconnect the selector cable.
6. Move the selector lever to position N.
7. Disconnect switch range gearbox.
8. Remove the screws fastening the switch range gearbox.
9. Connect the ohmmeter between terminals 5 and 7.
10. Adjust the position of the switch so that the conductivity between switch contacts correspond required.
11. Tighten the two screws on the range selector gearbox.

The inhaling moment: 7,9-10,7 N ??? m

12. Check that the conductivity switch range meets the required transmission.
13. Connect the switch of a range gearbox.
14. Connect a cable of the selector and fix nuts.

Torque: 32-46 N ??? m

15. Install the air filter and the intake of fresh air.
16. Connect the air temperature sensor connector and the air flow meter.
17. Establish a diagnostic socket.
18. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
