Removal and installation of atomizers



Details of installation of the fuel injector

1 - Lock nut return line

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the injector fuel supply line.
  2. Take the lock nut and disconnect return line.
  3. Remove the washer.
  4. Loosen and remove the nozzle.
  5. Remove the sealing element and a corrugated washer.
  6. Dismantle the nozzle into components.

  1. Check all components for mechanical damage, make sure the density of pressing the needle valve to its seat.
  1. Expand the needle valve body upright, tuck needle about 2/3 of its length into the body and release - it has to go down to the saddle under its own weight.
  1. Assemble the nozzle, tightening the valve body in a holder with a force of 78.4 ÷ 98.1 Nm.
  1. Check the opening pressure of the nozzle (see. Section Check the power supply system).
  2. Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to replace all sealing elements, tighten the nozzle with demanded effort (58.8 ÷ 68.6 Nm).

The corrugated washer should set the red marker to the nozzle.
