Check the steering pump pressure

Do not hold the steering wheel with the engine running in extreme positions for more than 15 seconds!

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the pressure line from the hydraulic path of gear and connect the measuring set - a set of valves must be connected to the steering mechanism. Couplings should be tightened to 31 ÷ 47 Nm.
1 - the pump
2 - to the steering mechanism
3 - Thermometer (50 ÷ 60 ? C)
4 - Pressure gauge
5 - Shut-off valve
  1. Follow the procedure of "pumping" of a hydraulic path (see. Section Bleeding from the working path hydrostrengthening steering system).
  2. Fully open the gate valve is connected to the system, then start the engine a few times and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock with the purpose of warming up the hydraulic fluid up to normal operating temperature (50 ÷ 60 ? C).
  3. Raise the engine speed up to 1000 ÷ 1500 per minute, close the valve and read pressure gauge - the desired value is 6860 ? 98 kPa (70 ? 1 kg / cm 2).
  4. ????????????? ??????????????? ??????????? ?????????? ??? ????????? ???? ?????????, - ?????????????? ?????????????? ?????????? ????????????? ????????????. Close the valve and running, with turnover in 1000 ÷ 1500 min-1 engine, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock - pressure gauge reading should remain the same.

To avoid overheating of the hydraulic fluid does not hold the valve closed for more than 15 seconds!

  1. Stop the engine, remove the pressure gauge and valve and restore initial connection of the hydraulic lines, tightening the choke sockets with demanded effort (31 ÷ 47 Nm).
  2. In conclusion, the "pump" hydraulic path (see. Section Bleeding from the working path hydrostrengthening steering system).
