Check brake fluid level

Expansion brake fluid reservoir is located in the engine compartment. It has two cameras, one for each brake circuit. The cover has a vent hole, which should not become clogged.

The surge tank is made of transparent material, so that the brake fluid can be checked at any time from the outside. It is recommended to regularly throw a look at the expansion tank.

The fluid level should lie with the lid closed, no higher than the maximum level not lower than the minimum.

Fill only brake fluid SAE specification J 1703, DOT Z.

Because of the wear and tear of brake pads brake fluid level drops significantly. This is normal.

If the fluid level within a short period of time drops greatly, it is a sign of loss of brake fluid.

It should immediately detect the leak. Generally, it is worn on the cuffs in the wheel brake cylinders. For safety reasons, should be tested in a specialized workshop.
