Substitution coolant

As part of the maintenance of the coolant must be replaced regularly. See Chapter Introduction.

If the cooling liquid is discharged under repair, it should be collected, since it contains anti-freeze and anti-corrosion agents. When replacing the water pump, radiator, or the cylinder head coolant must be replaced. Only use proprietary liquid based on ethylene glycol. The concentrate should be consistent with aluminum elements. Do not use coolant alcohol-based.

Draining

  4. After cooling of the engine to check the fluid level in the expansion tank. If necessary, add a liquid to a mark "FULL".
  5. Check the tightness of the cooling system, especially the hose connections and the drain plug and the water pump.
